Through a post, the country's first says The Lion, as well as the Haradinaj family, contributed much to Kosovo's freedom, becoming a symbol of our freedom.
Osmani has further said The Lion, fought for Kosovo's freedom and the hero wind on the border between Kosovo and Albania.

27 years ago, in a Stoic confrontation with forces of Serbia's genocide regime, Luan Haradinaj drops heroicly, just before the freedom, which the warrior of Serbia comes in. The NLA and its co-members had the ideals and passports of generations, so they testified to commitment, sacrifice and courage.
The lion, as did the Haradinaj family, gave much for Kosovo's freedom, becoming a symbol of our freedom, so they will always be honored.
The Lion hero fought for Kosovo's freedom and played the hero on the border between Kosovo and Albania.
On this anniversary, we bow to the heroic play of the Lion with KLA fighters and honor all our martyrs, who make our freedom possible.
May the memory of the Lion and all those who fell on the altar of freedom be everlasting.
