Northern Mitrovica Deputy Chairman Katarina Axanciq has said she meets openly and publicly with Prime Minister Albin Kurti “for the difference from many Kosovo Serb politicians who meet secretly”.
He has indicated that he has met with Kosovo prime minister twice during the last 15 days alone.
In an interview for Kosovo, she has said that with it other than Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, they have also talked about various topics, which affect the improvement of the living standards of northern citizens.
According to her, communication between local and central institutions is inevitable and should exist for the good of citizens.
The deputy chairman of northern Mitrovica stressed that so far no one has ever been attacked because of its co-operation with the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, though he does not rule out such a thing in the future.
It has invited northern Serb citizens to respond positively to this population registration process.
