According to media reports, overnight raids have focused on the Sulaj area, Havana and Apollo. Police suspect that after abandoning the car near the site of the murder in the village of Baltez, the author has walked towards the village of Havana and later to Apollo.
So far, 12 persons have been escorted to the police for the event, family members of the author who have been questioned if they know the location of the 23-year-old. Police are offering 30 thousand euros in compensation for any valuable information that will lead to the author's capture, while authorities have called on him to surrender himself.
28-year-old Novruz Cenalia was killed with a bullet to the head on 13 May 2024 in the Baltuz village of Fier. He was on his way to work, but he got involved in a debate with Aslan Mernica, 23, about his car crossing.
At the moment, 23-year-old pulled the gun he carried with him and left the state police officer dead with one bullet to his head. Then he left the scene.
