The Democratic League of Kosovo through a reaction has stressed that “the continued and steadfast support of the United States and other NATO members today resulted in Kosovo's advancement by member observers associated” at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
The LDK highlights that, up to Kosovo's full membership in NATO, much work remains.
“The LDK will continue its contribution, launched since 1989, towards Kosovo's full integration into Euro-Atlantic institutions”, said the communique.
“Friendship and co-operation with America and NATO were and remain a foundation part of President Historical's vision Dr. Ibrahim Rugova. Kosovo's dedication now and decades to peace, stability and democratic principles was reflected in NATO's support for our country. Kosovo and its citizens are always grateful to NATO member states that, even today, as always, stood by us, and with their vote, enabled our status to advance” to be further stressed.
