Report by Lord Mark Lancaster (United Kingdom) presented the largely dedicated report to Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, in which they address security challenges and the threat of conflict.
Among other things, the report reportedly witnessed a significant return of violent confrontations in northern Kosovo, which were alarm for Western leaders for the seriousness of ongoing challenges in the Western Balkans.
Furthermore, the lack of normalised relations between Belgrade and Pristina is said to be sowing the threat of serious conflict with possible regional implications. In response, the Allies strengthened their KFOR mission.
Report to the other side, political paralysis in Bosnia and Herzegovina ( BiH also contains a secret potential to undermine the Dayton Agreement, which has maintained a poor peace among the country's main constituent peoples for nearly 30 years.
“High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina recently warned of “an unprecedented level of attacks” against the post-war settlement, mainly from Republika Srpska (RS), which is adding threats to secession from BiH together”, the report said.
