The European Union's Emisari, Miroslav Lajcak, has said he is ready to organise another meeting between Kosovo's top negotiators and Serbia on the dinar issue, provided they show readiness to reach an agreement.
He in a Facebook post has said that during the week he has held a meeting with Besnik Bissim as Kosovo's chief negotiator and Serbia's Petar Petkov, but that no agreement has been reached.
Lajcak has added that it remains unclear how the failure to reach agreement on the dinar will affect the lives of citizens.
I have been waiting for Kosovo and Serbia's chief negotiators for what I see as the final round of discussions on the Kosovo Central Bank regulation last week. Unfortunately, no agreement has been reached and it is unclear how this will affect the daily life of the communities affected in Kosovo. I remain willing to wait for another meeting on this subject, provided the parties show real readiness to reach a” agreement, he wrote.
During the week it was held the seventh meeting, which had the dinar issue, but there was no agreement from the meeting.
