After the meeting he held in the morning with the ambassadors of the QUINT countries and the EU chief in Kosovo, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti received ambassadors of the Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium and Finland at the meeting yesterday afternoon.
The central theme of the meeting was Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, the role and precious support of these countries towards Kosovo throughout the process, as well as their support at the ministers' committee meeting, in line with the Parliamentary Assembly vote last month.
The prime minister expressed gratitude and thanks to the ambassadors for the unconditional support of their states throughout the process.
Kosovo is the only European democracy that is outside the Council of Europe. Membership based on mutual merit and values brings benefits to all Kosovo citizens, especially non-US communities, as well as contributes to democracy, peace and stability in the region.
