Kosovo, officially in NATO's AP agenda, is expected to become an associate member

Kosovo is officially on the NATO Parliamentary Assembly agenda, where it is expected to become an associate member of the alliance.

The NATO Parliamentary Assembly's discussion agenda will also be the challenges in the Western Balkans.

The “The Assembly is expected to adopt a deep reform of partnerships and decide on the demands of Malta and the Kosovo Assembly to become associated members”, it says in the agenda.

In addition to continuing challenges in the Western Balkans, the topic of discussion at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly will also be strategies to support NATO partners.

“These discussions will underline the Assembly's commitment to stability in key regions of strategic interest, as well as to promoting broader dialogue on global challenges”, the report said.
