Konjufca wishes Europe Day: Kosovo must membership without additional conditions in KiE

The chairman of the assembly, Glauk Konjufca, has participated in the reception organised by the EU Office in Kosovo on the 9th May Day of Europe.

Konjufca said that this date serves as evidence of the commitment of the people and Kosovo institutions to the road towards the European family and of the democratic values it promotes.

“No matter whether there are even a few days left until the meeting of the Ministerial Council, we believe that Kosovo deserves and should be joined without additional conditions, be the youngest full-fledged member of the Council of Europe, said Konjufca, broadcast Klankosova.tv.

On the other hand, Konjufca said that for Kosovo, but also for the entire region, EU membership is of particular importance, which, according to him, benefits are mutual.

More peace, security and developmental prosperity for Kosovo and the region means a stronger and safer Europe, Konjufca said further.

Furthermore, the head of the assembly said that it has already become more than a year since Kosovo has applied for EU membership, which, according to him, Kosovo by EU institutions and other allies, needs support for taking concrete steps.

Kosovo citizens, despite the long wait, continue to believe in European integration policies and contribute daily to the development of our society and democratic institutions. This is witnessed by the prize to be shared, he said.
