KMDLNj criticises Government after renting prisons: Kosovo becoming major international prison

The Council for Protection and Freedom of Human Rights has reacted to the government's plans, which according to this Council, target implementing a Denmark Kingdom Agreement for the rental of the Gjilan Presiding Centre where 300 convicted in Denmark for serious criminal acts would be placed for the start, and who Denmark at any cost transferred to Kosovo for not having the capacity to resociate.

Kosovo's current “government is continuing to implement a criminal and racist agreement with Denmark's Kingdom for the rent of the Jnjilan Presiding Centre where, for the start, 300 convicted in Denmark for serious criminal acts and who Denmark at any cost will transfer to Kosovo for the fact that they are not having the capacity to resocialise. None of the convicts who will be transferred against their will is Danish or Danish citizens, all are from other states, mainly Arab, Africa or undeveloped states, considered to pose a threat to the Kingdom of Denmark. The amount these prisoners sell to Kosovo is negligible -- approximately 200m euros. This legal trafficking of human beings between Kosovo and Denmark has been rejected in Denmark by human rights activists, while in Kosovo, since the beginning it has been strongly opposed only by KMDLNj.”, said in response

KMDLNj stressed that” The United Nations Committee for Prevention has rejected this agreement because it violates human rights and has asked the Denmark government to annul the agreement. The Kosovo government, in the extreme lack of transparency, tries to smuggle the Agreement as an international one that brings great material benefits, accusing the opposition of failing to lose Kosovo 200m euros, although the damage done to Kosovo is much greater and directly has consequences for the country's security. The post-crulous justice ministry is denoting the opinion of this agreement by concealing the fact that within the country it is legalising two corrective systems -- Kosovo's which is being discriminated against and Denmark's that it is actually having the status of Embassy or extraterritorial territory, where Kosovo institutions have no access and where Kosovo legislation is replaced with Denmark's.”

And in response it is said that no normal state would accept this. For KMDLNj, it is surprising that Kosovo Assembly deputies do not even know the contents of this agreement, and therefore do not consider the consequences that come out of this, so they have not taken any action to oppose it. Kosovo's MDD is brutally lying about this agreement through the instrumentisation of MPs of the opposition MPs' position and ignorance. The Danish Constitution is racist and brutally violating the rights of prisoners selling to Kosovo. With this agreement, the Kosovo Correcting Service and Kosovo convicts mostly lose, who will be put in the highly discriminatory report compared to the correct Danish staff and the Jordanian convicts in Gjilan Prison. Seeing the confusion of Kosovo institutions, the Kingdom of Belgium had also intended to act like Denmark, unless this proposal was rejected by its prime minister. Finally, Austria is considering it as an opportunity to teansify troubled prisoners who are not Austrians in Kosovo. Countries with economic and political instability are subjecting themselves to powerful countries by accepting harmful agreements, England is sending refugees to Rwanda (Afrika) as well as prisoners whose violent actions are returning to Albania. Italy is sending refugees and prisoners to Albania as if Denmark, perhaps Austria and some other country will buy a prison to transfer, contrary to imprisoned human rights that want to be freed from them. Kosovo Assembly MPs should refuse to vote on the Denmark Agreement, as well as similar deepening agreements because they flagrantly violate human rights! That is how they expressly name reliable national and international reports”, said KMDLNj's response.
