A draft report published by the International Crisis Group (ICG) for the attack on Banjska, saying KFOR had negotiated the departure of Serbian theatre players, had prompted KFOR's reaction.
In response, the International Crisis Group has already changed that part of the text.
The text has been changed today 28 May, and it is said that “misdemeanor” was quoted as negotiating the removal of the Serbian armed group.
This text was updated on May 28, 2024. The original version of this report wrongly stated that KFOR personnel negotiated the withdrawal of the Serbian armed group from the impasse in Banjska”, The up - to - date article states.

The ICG before changing the article wrote that “due to fear of a bloodshed, KFOR negotiated the group's withdrawal into the surrounding forests, of which they melted. Kosovo believes as many as 200 other fighters were hiding at the time in the dense forest between Banjska and the Serbian border”.
KFOR has reacted immediately after publishing this draft report.
In a statement he called <x0 ... incorrect reporting”, stating that “is not at any moment involved in alleged negotiations”.
“Passy was invited to reinforce his presence, KFOR has been closely co-ordinated with the Kosovo Police and with the EU's mission for Law Rule (EULEX) to restore security in the area. The violence that took place in Banjska came after an attack on KFOR peacekeepers in May 2023, which resulted in the injuries of 93 KFOR personnel members, some of whom suffered serious injuries”, KFOR response said.
On September 24th, 2023, an armed Serb group attacked the Kosovo Police in Banjska, killing Sergeant Africa Buxaku. Three attackers have been killed in exchange for the fire.
Kosovo considers the state of Serbia responsible for organising and conducting the attack, but Belgrade denies something like that.
The responsibility for the attack has been taken over by former Serbian List Deputy Chairman Milan Radojic.
He is currently believed to be in Serbia, and an international warrant has been issued by the International Police Organisation (INTERPOL).
The international factor has demanded many times that those responsible for the attack face justice.
