MPs and former Serbian Parliament deputies say she has not given up on Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Albanian deputy in the Serbian Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, even says Serbia is waiting for geopolitical circumstances to change to attack Kosovo.
According to Camber, Serbia's alliance with Russia's China is a clear signal to the Western world.
“They have already said they are awaiting an appropriate geopolitical moment when they will march back to Kosovo. So we're dealing with a destabilising and warmongering policy that's being supported by two world powers like China and Russia. With these two powers, Serbia will aim to destabilise Kosovo, especially in the northern part of the country”, Kamberi said.
Even the other politician, Aleksandar Olenik, does not rule out the possibility that a similar attack on Banjska could occur again.
However, according to him, the security situation is more sensitive in Bosnia and Herzegovina than in Kosovo.
Serbia cannot open war with Kosovo or with Bosnia because it would directly imply conflict with NATO, and Serbia knows very well how the recent conflict with the north-Atlantic alliance ended. However, the possibility of Serbia trying to create a small conflict, such as the case in Banjska, is not ruled out. But I see the security situation far more sensitive in Bosnia and Herzegovina than in Kosovo. At this point, Russia would be highly convening a conflict in the Western Balkan region”, Olenik said.
We remember that over the past few years, Serbia has markedly increased military investments.
