She told CNN that the JNP prosecutor has spent “tre years” trying to improve dialogue with Israel and receive important information about their investigations.
Blinken criticised JNP prosecutor Karim Khan for rushing to apply for arrest warrants and “not allowing the Israeli legal system a full and timely opportunity to continue”.
With all the important efforts, (the prosecutor's office) has received no information that has shown real action at the local level to address alleged crimes or individuals under investigation,” said the JNP.
The prosecutor also repeatedly underlined his concerns about Israel's respect for international humanitarian law and has publicly stressed that he has not seen any apparent change in behavior despite his earlier statements”.
