During my stay in Madrid, I met with former Prime Minister of Spain St. T José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero.
We talked about Kosovo's development over the past 20 years, as well as the need and democratisation of Kosovo's integration and the entire region in Euro-Atlantic structures”, Jahjaga wrote.
The former president said the former Spanish prime minister also thanked him for serving Spanish troops in Kosovo under KFOR.
Also, as a real feminist we talked about women's position in our societies. The prime minister I thanked for the Spanish troops' service within KFOR in Kosovo for preserving peace and security in the country”, Atifete Jahjaga wrote.
