Humoll: This government took confidence to approach Serbia differently

“We have a political class that has not believed that we are able to get out of Serbia and has faced a political class that has led the process of liberation war and we have forced the international community to reflect on our national interests. But we've taken this reflection of the international community as if something was done and didn't appreciate it's a process that has to be carried out”, Hummolli said in “Info Plus” in RTK.

He said that the current government has changed its course and that's why it had to go back to the citizen and seek confidence.

This government has taken the trust of citizens to approach Serbia differently, not to talk about the dinar, or not to talk to Serbia about Kosovo. It has taken confidence to negotiate with Kosovo Serbs. Instead of talking with Kosovo Serbs, today our institutions and political parties as a whole have agreed to talk with Vuciqi about the lives of Serbs in Kosovo”, Humolli has stressed away.

According to him, this approach has made Vuciqi strong in Belgrade and has also put international allies in bad standing.

And even at the assembly I asked that we should build an institution that should do analysis of where we were, where we were and where we were going. There is no way that he can do the analysis of a political subject that sees only one direction. Scientific analyses make institutions that look at things from all directions”, he underlined.

He has said that Serbs in Kosovo have more rights than Albanians, while linking this with the fact that Albanians cannot make constitutional changes without the vote of Serbian MPs.
