LDK Deputy Chairman Lutfi Haziri has said that confronting the country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, with the process of membership in the Council of Europe is a failure for Kosovo, but not victory for Serbia.
Haziri compared the conditioning of internationals regarding KiE membership to the issue of demarcation with Montenegro, saying that today this situation has returned the country in 2017.
Additional requests have been from the EU the law on demarcation of the border with Montenegro, but Kurti has used it for domestic consumption and delayed Kosovo liberalisation for 6 years. This has come as NATO's request, for Montenegro's NATO membership need, has been linked to Kosovo”.
We couldn't manage the “because the VV and the then opposition partners used it for internal consumption. Today, the situation with membership in the Council of Europe has turned Kosovo into 2017<18x1>, Haziri said in Klan Kosova.
In addition, he said that Kurti Government in three years of governance has had a lack of co-ordination with international partners on the issue of common interest.
“There have been unilateral actions, but new situations that were created in Kosovo have been created out of co-ordination with partners. We had our only co-ordination on 24 September in the Banjska case when we were attacked by the terrorist group and the response has been co-ordinated”, he said.
