Government priority: Businesses consider digitisation of state companies and administration necessary

They have also called for more co-operation between businesses and government so that young people can develop a career within the country and not leave in Western states.

I think it's more than a priority for our government to finance companies with their different policies, because it's very important to digitise all companies in this regard. It is imperative that we be coherent and be on the move at the same time as businesses operating in the mother country. We have cooperated with their projects for practice and so on. It is necessary as a business to have cooperation with youth so that you can give them a good way to know they have a career to do in Kosovo. And let's not allow ourselves unfortunately to escape by hoping that they will find a better life in EU countries as long as there is opportunity and there is space in Kosovo, but with good co-operation with a government triangle, business and university there is a possibility of youth being given a very good course, an opportunity to develop in Kosovo. Even Burbuke Gracekevci, the manager of human resources in Kosovo's Rural Credit, has said digitisation of administrative processes is very important to make it easier for officials and citizens.

It's very important that we're all connected today with smart phones that mean we're directly connected to artificial intelligence. I used to say that human intelligence is far more important and that it has enabled artificial intelligence to develop, so we have to use it to improve our processes”, she said.

She says any assistance coming from state institutions on this issue is welcome for the entire market in Kosovo.

“Platforms like these help us not to do these processes by zero ourselves, because they're expensive and we're smaller companies and it's not worth us developing this process ourselves from the beginning so that such platforms are good and help us improve recruiting processes. That would be necessary and would help smaller companies, also if there is something developed by institutions is welcome for the entire market”, she said. / EO
