Foreign Affairs Minister Donika Grovalla attended the “table. Regional goals and concerns”, organised by the “Hudson” Institute in Washington.
She said that at this table, she stressed that Serbia has again turned into a real threat not only to Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, but to the entire region.
“In table titled “Goals and Regional Concerns”, organised by the “Hudson” Institute in Washington, I spoke of the challenges facing Kosovo and the Balkan region and the Eastern Europe”, Gervalla wrote on Facebook today.
“Describing the extraordinary development of Kosovo, its economy, but also strengthening all security structures and its armed forces stressed Kosovo's continued commitment to democratic values and the steadfast will for membership in NATO and the EU”.
“Responding to the many concerns in attendance, I stressed that Serbia has again turned into a real threat not only to Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, but to the whole region, noting the importance of changing the strategy of Western democracies in relation to Serbia as the strongest opponent of Western and democratic values in Europe and the necessity of confronting Serbia with the risk posed by the region, but also for peace in Europe<1>.
