In an unprecedented way and as never before, Kosovo Foreign Affairs Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Donika Grovalla has stated that the draft statute for Association of Serb Majorties, proposed by the European Union, is similar to Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but Kosovo has agreed to implement it as part of the total package of agreements with Serbia, including the Brussels and the Ohrid Annex Agreement.
The draft that our partners presented to us makes sense only if Serbia recognises de facto Kosovo, otherwise it is a land horse, just like the Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, Donika Gervalla confirmed on the Cim Peka Live TV show.
She added that “if Serbia is able to implement the package as a whole and we are able to keep our promise, otherwise the removal of that draft from that package is very dangerous”.
Gervala was never clarified what forces Kosovo to accept a Republika Srpska within itself when the agreement neither ends with mutual recognition.
She was not even challenged by present journalists Cim Peka and Andy Bushati to further clarify her findings that Kosovo is able to accept the implementation of a Serb republic within the state.
