The genocide of Srebrenica is recognised by the International Court, marked annually, and committed to making this institutional memory. The resolution also underlines accounting research. This resolution is directed towards neither anyone nor Serbia. It is directed at the perpetrators. The resolution also enjoys strong support from Western Balkan states. We've decided to introduce the amendments. Montenegro has clarified that accountability cannot be attributed to any ethnic group. This resolution is aimed at reconciliation. All ethnic groups that have been involved in Balkan wars have suffered major losses. The perpetrators of such crimes for genocide must account. What message is presented to future generations if the Assembly does not vote on this resolution”, Germany's representative stressed.
