German top diplomat calls on the Government of Kosovo from Bundestag to do everything for CoE membership

German top diplomat Annalena Baerbock, during a speech in Bundestag for the 75th anniversary of the Council of Europe, has also cited Kosovo's application for membership in the organisation.
Speaking of the values and principles of the Council of Europe and its institutions, Baerbox said the organisation attracts even the newest democracy in Europe to Kosovo.
This is the power that lies in the instruments of the Council of Europe now our Council of Europe. The chief of German diplomacy called for the necessary support for Kosovo's membership in the KiE, and urged the carriers of institutions in Kosovo to commit to Kosovo joining as soon as possible.

Foreign Affairs Minister Donika Grovalla said they have sent a letter to the Eurppa Council confirming the pledge that they are preparing drafts for the establishment of “a mechanism for self-recognition, co-ordination and co-operation of Serb majority municipalities in Kosovo”.
This draft will be sent to the Constitutional Court by the end of May.
