Evidence of the attack on Banjska abroad suspends establishment of indictment

Establishing the indictment for the September 24th attack on Banjska cannot be done until most evidence is out of the country for expertise. Dukeagnin learns that some of the evidence sent down is weapons that were found at the scene sent to several different countries. And instead of criticism [...]

The images of terrorists from the attack on Banjska, where Milan Radoic was seen, September 24, 2023.

The bullets and holes in the Kosovo Police Highway are some of the evidence, which were seen several days after the September 24th attack that took place in Zvecan Baniska.

Even much of the weapons found in this country were exposed.

But for establishing the indictment against those who organized the terrorist attack in which Sergeant Africa Bulnjak was killed, that is not enough.

One of the reasons the Special Prosecutor of Kosovo has not yet completed the indictment is sending abroad a considerable number of evidence for expertise that is not conducted in our country.

In this regard, as television has learned, amid evidence involving some of the weapons found at the scene, they have been sent to countries like the US and Germany, but also to the region, states like North Macedonia.

For delays in the establishment of the indictment, in particular after taking responsibility for the attack by former Serbian List Chief Milan Radojic, executively critical of the prosecutor's address have repeatedly gone to criticism.

But, Ehat Miftaraj from the Kosovo Institute for Justice says that instead of the prosecution being criticised, investments would have to be made in labs that are not functional.

This government was four years unfortunately failing to function, the institutions that have to do with Forenzice, or even other institutions that would somehow facilitate the work of prosecutors, only for information about Banjska, which is, let's say, there's still no act on Forenzic, we can say that prosecutors in this case are unable to make the case because a large number of evidence has been sent to various states, whether in America, whether in Macedonia or other states to make evidence of wine and evidence, for the institutions in this case are unable to make it a cause for the failure of the Serbian government, the Miftar.

The complex for investigating this case is seen by former Kosovo Police Colonel Beftman Sylejmani, who says however, the same should be handled most urgently by all institutions.

This, according to Sylejmani, may lead to repeated attacks.

Whatever tests they've been looking for, if you're looking for it, it's going to be eight months, come on, they can't scratch for two months to five, now that they're not transparent, they're suspicious that there's not a real job going on there, and that's just because it's going down and it's contributing to straining the situation in the north there and now that we're just standing before such an attack that can be repeated<1>, Syleman declared.

On this subject, television has also sought answers from the Ministry of Justice, but the same have not returned.

Otherwise, the toxicology laboratory at the Institute of Legal Medicine has been out of office since December 2022. / RTVDukagini/
