A total of 211 passengers and 18 crew members were on the plane, according to a news release by Singapore Airlines, which expressed its condolences to the deceased's family.
Singapore Airlines said it was working with local authorities in Thailand to provide urgent medical assistance and was sending a team to Bangkok to provide additional assistance.
Our priority is to provide all possible assistance to all passengers and crew members on the plane”, Singapore Airlines said.
