This motion was proposed by Kearns following a debate on security in the Western Balkans.
“I demand that this chamber move to recognise the acute security situation in the Western Balkans, support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, to condemn the attack of Serbian nationalist militants in Banjska in Kosovo on 24 September 2023”, said in the motion proposed by MP Kearns, adopted in the British Parliament.
Also in the adopted motion, it is required to support the authority of the Constitutional Court in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to condemn Russian intervention in the Balkans.
“Parliament notes with concern the political rhetoric iredentist pro-Serbian and pro-Serbian rhetoric in Montenegro and urges the government to step up its engagement with regional partners and international allies to improve the security landscape of the Western Balkans”, said in the motion adopted in London.
“satisfied that Parliament today unanimously agreed to this motion for the Western Balkans”, wrote Kearns on the “X” platform.
