The brother of Bosnia and Herzegovina's federal minister, Vojin Mijatovic, has been killed in Belgrade. As the Bosnian newspaper today writes Dnevni avaz has unofficially learned that Djordje Mijatovic's younger brother, Vojin Mijatovic, was killed in Belgrade yesterday afternoon.

According to report Dnevni AvazHe tried to protect his minor son from a group of hooligans who then attacked Mijatovic's brother and stabbed him.

The attack occurred on Sunday around 15:10.

Police have reacted quickly and have detained the suspect. Investigations are continuing, while Miijatovic has travelled to Belgrade.

Vojin Mijatovic is deputy chairman of Bosnia's Social Democrat Party. He is born in Banjaque by parents of Serbian ethnicity.
