Bislimia calls meeting for dinar in Brussels a failure

Kosovo's chief negotiator, Besnik Bislimi, described the meeting in Brussels as a failure for the dinar, saying the Serbian side came with new proposals for the issue, not in response.
Speaking to reporters after several hours of negotiations, Bislimi said he does not expect further meetings on the subject.
According to him, the mediator of talks, Miroslav Lajcak, will no longer invite the parties, unless they were constructive.
In Brussels today, the trilateral meeting between Kosovo's chief negotiator, Besnik Bislimi, and Serbia's Petar Petkov, was held under the European Union's mediation.
On 1 February, the new Kosovo Central Bank regulation (BQK) that envisions the euro as the only currency for handling payments entered into force. / REL
