Bislim meets with Switzerland's State Secretary, discuss Kosovo's CoE membership

The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialog of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, met yesterday during his stay in Switzerland with Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Alexander Fasel.

At this meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi stressed our country's European perspective, its goals and goals in European integration processes, and the development and progress of our country.

“U noted that through our government programme and undertaken policies, we have witnessed the strong commitment to democratic governance and made important steps to economic development, sustainable economic growth, fair distribution and equal among all citizens.

Furthermore, Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe was discussed. Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi emphasised the democratic values of our state and the goal of connecting with the European community, where an important step is membership in this organisation”, reports the media report.

Among the topics addressed were the situation in the country and the region, as well as the process of dialogue. Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi thanked Fasel for his hospitality, precious conversation and exchanged views, stressing the importance of continuing to strengthen relations between our two states.
