Bakoyannis reminds Vucinqi of the negotiations with Kosovo: You have acknowledged the existence of two countries.

In an opinion on the Serbian weekly, Radar, Bakoyannis has written about the attacks made to her by the leadership in Belgrade due to the positive report on Kosovo.

She answers in writing to Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, who recalls that as with negotiations on “the corrections of borders” between Kosovo and Serbia, which presupposed the existence of two states.

“in 2018, at the Alpbach European Forum in Austria, President Vuciq publicly admitted that he had negotiated border corrections between Serbia and Kosovo with former Kosovo president Hashim Thaci. Bakoyannis says Serbia “has no sustainable alternative to the EU and embracing liberal democratic institutions”, if it wants to have a prosperous future.
