Peacekeeping Mission NATO in Kosovo has indicated that following a request by the Kosovo Police, the Finnish unit of KFOR, deployed with Regional Command in the East, has assisted in certain annihilation of a suspicious explosive ammunition discovered in southern Mitrovica on 16 May.
“KFOR has dedicated the “equeries of EOD”, well trained and equipped to handle unbroken and ready to respond when requested.
KFOR continues to provide a secure environment for all people in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially, in line with the UN Security Council Resolution”, the report says.
