He has said he does not feel well when he reads in international media about the punishment the EU and the US have committed to Kosovo, with this case he has also called for the government to co-operate with its allies.
He has said the US, together with its allies in NATO, were those who helped free Kosovo from Serbia.
“I don't feel well when I see through international media, but also in national media, which America has imposed sanctions on Kosovo, that Europe has imposed sanctions on Kosovo. I think that the entire political class in Kosovo, in particular, should put the Kosovo government on alert because all these allies, the US, with its alliances in NATO, were the ones who helped us to free Kosovo. We paid our freedom with blood, but we freed the Allies. So these news reports that I read are not good for Kosovo, we don't do well for Kosovo's health”, he said of EO.
Ahmeti has said Kosovo has a very important process ahead for EU membership, NATO and various organisations, and according to him, to succeed in this road Kosovo needs international friends.
