It is learned that there has already been a correspondence between the Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Albanian General Prosecutor and Ukraine.
Albanian prosecution chief Olsian Cela several days ago has sent his Ukrainian counterpart, Andriy Costin, a request to be updated in connection with collecting evidence requested by the Albanian side.
First letter from Top Channel Attorney General Olsian Cela says:
This request comes next with reference from the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. We request information on the proceeding performance of 9.11,2022 registered at the Kharkiev Public Prosecutor's Office on March 6th, 2022, where the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Albania simultaneously recorded in the Honorary Consul's House Mr. Sahkin Omarov, has been the target of Russian forces' attacks with the result of their destruction”.
Albania's first request of this kind comes after strong pro-Ukrainian positions as participants in the UN Security Council, from which a strong clash arose between Prime Minister Edi Rama and Russian Ambassador to the council, where Ukraine's President Volodimir Zelensky was invited to speak.
