More than 23 thousand students on June 25th and 28th will be subjected to the award test. This year the distribution of students in classrooms will be done directly by the Ministry of Education. Educators of education issues are praising that the problem continues to remain ill-management of testing.
This school year will also be held in two days. On the first day, students are expected to submit to social classes and on the second day to scientific subjects.
Rating, Standard and Monitoring Division leader at the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and innovation (MASHTI), Fatmir Elesi, in an answer to Radio Kosovo said over 23 thousand students are expected to submit to that assessment.
This year is also scheduled for two days. Students will undergo testing on June 25th on the first day and June 28th on the second day. This year, this test is expected to be subject to 23 thousand and 200 semamatants”, he said.
On the other hand, Elezaj said for the first time this year the distribution of students in the classroom will take place by the Ministry of Education.
“The municipalities are responsible for organising test centres and assigning test managers. The ministry will, on the other hand, arrange for students to be assigned to the halls. Class and school students won't be together in the same testing room. So, they're going to get mixed up and there's not going to be more than two students of the same class in the testing room”, Elesaj said.
Mismanaged management of cognitive education tests are still seeing it as an ongoing problem. Youth Qehaja from the Institute,“Edguard” told Kosovo Radio of the testing process there is much negligence in management.
If this test was well managed, it would make sense. However, in the situation we are in, where there is neglect in management and major abuses by students, it would be more reasonable for this test to be arranged without a score. However, the organisation should be only as an orientation to understand students in which profiles have better skills and skills towards others”, Qehaja said.
On June 25th, students will be subject to test on subjects: Albanian, English, history and geography. On June 28th, however, they will go for scientific testing: mathematics, IT, physics, chemistry and biology. The goal of the Achievement Test is to measure students' knowledge and skills, and at the same time nine-graders will be served for enrollment in high schools.
