More than 90 journalists are killed in the war between Israel and Hamas.
This war, which began on October 7th 2023, is the deadliest conflict for journalists since the Journalists' Defence Committee began holding data in 1992.
Displaced journalists working in improvised tents risk being exposed to Israeli attacks, CNN writes.
Some say they were forced to leave their homes without equipment or protective equipment, instead using mobile phones to show the world what is going on.
Others must travel to a higher area when loading images, in an effort to bypass power cuts and communication cuts as Israeli bombings continue.
