This witness began his testimony yesterday and, according to the summary read by prosecutor Alexandra Insinga, he is a relative of a victim who has disappeared and been killed by Drenoci, reports the “Justice Voting”.
Before proceeding with this witness's testimony hearing, the chairman of the court, Charles Smith III, said they would discuss a case initially, but that the session went to private session with the reasoning of defending the witness and confidential information.
It is noteworthy, however, that the holiday modification has been made at today's session schedule for the morning session, while the afternoon schedule remains unchanged.
The first session will last until 10:30, followed by a 15-minute break. The second session will continue until 12: 00 p.m. The lunch break will be between 12: 00 p.m. and 14:30, while the final session will be held from 2:30 to 16:30<18x1>, also said at the DESK report.
We remember that during the end of yesterday's hearing, Chief Judge Charles Smith III said the SPS proposed that two other witnesses testify through the video connection that he said the decision would be made later. Otherwise, the defence parties did not oppose this ZPS presentation.
Otherwise, the Specialised Prosecutor's Office, on September 30th, 2022, has handed over the confirmed amended indictment against Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi, which consists of ten points of charges, where the latter are charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity.
On April 29th 2022, the Specialised Prosecutor's Office had handed over a amended indictment to Hashim Thaci, Kadri Wessel, Rexhepi and Jakup Krasniqi, where four indictees have committed war crimes even in Gjilan, Budakov and Semtish.
