Ukraine's president, Voldymyr Zelensky, has again prayed to Kiev's allies on Saturday for counteraircraft and rapid weapons supplies, following the new massive Russian attack on the Ukrainian energy sector.
Zelensky said Ukraine needs sufficient quantity of antiaircraft and other weapons to protect its cities and triumph against Russian invaders.
“Terrori must always be lost and, whoever helps us to withstand Russian terror, is a real life advocate”, Zelensky said on Saturday.
Kiev said Saturday morning that Russia has carried out major attacks against its power plants overnight.
DTEK, Ukraine's largest energy company, said four of its thermal power plants have been hit.

On Friday, US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin said the United States would hastily send Ukraine missiles from the Patriot antiaircraft system and artillery ammunition.
However, Patriot antiaircrafts for missile launch will not be sent to Kiev, Austin said.
Speaking Friday, Austin said the US is fulfilling its pledge to help with Ukraine's largest military package to date, worth about $6 billion, and will act quickly to supply it.
Besides the Patriot missiles, the $6 billion package, including more ammunition for advanced national air-earth missile systems (NASAMS), additional equipment for the integration of Western antiaircraft, rockets and radar into Ukraine's existing weapons.
On Friday, Zelensky said that only this year, Russian fighter planes used more than 9,000 air bombs against Ukraine.
At least seven Patriot anti-aircrafts needed to protect Ukrainian cities, he added.
