The Women in Kosovo are not safe anywhere.
Another woman was killed in the eyes of the state. Even a lost life that rescinds the war that has been declared to us women in Kosovo and that some of us are killing” is said in the communique of this organisation.
This childicide case is showing that girls and women in Kosovo are nowhere safe. They are raped and killed at home, in housing, on the streets, and in hospitals, without protection and security from the state”.
According to this organisation, “Femicid and the war that has been proclaimed to women should revolt all over us and freeze the streets and squares in Pristina and elsewhere to demand that the state with all its structures come up with girls and women and treat the childicide as a national emergency. As a society, we must stand up and fight together this patriarchate that is not taking refuge in women until it takes away their last breath of”.
“Texa girls and women are struggling with this mortal system with their lives and bodies, we can't stay calm and keep on living at normal. We have to get out of homes, offices, workshops, classes and cafes and denouncing and challenging patriarchal order that is fueling daily violence against girls and women and childicide”.
We call in revolt and entire demonstration, this Monday in “Zahir Pajaziti” Square starting at 17:30. On Monday and every other day, we fight for our own safety and every girl and woman in Kosovo. We fight for no woman to fear, be violated or killed”, said the communique.
