Almost all votes counted, Osman nearly 400,000 votes more than Taravari

Almost 100% of the votes have been counted and VMRO- candidate The DPMNE for Northern Macedonia Presidents Gordana Silianovska-Davidkova leads in the first round of presidential elections to be held Wednesday. It has received 362.682 votes, or 40,08%.

Stevo Pendarovski, current Macedonian president from LSDM, is ranked second with 180.306 votes (19,93%).

Albanian Minister of Foreign Affairs of Northern Macedonia Bujar Osmani, candidate for president by DUI, the largest Albanian party there, has received 120,903 votes (13.36%). While his counter-Candidate, Arben Taravari from the coalition of Albanian opposition parties, supported by the ruling Vetevendosje Movement in Kosovo, has received 83.356 votes (9.21%).

Since no one received the majority of votes, the two Macedonian candidates, Gordana Silljanovska Davkova and Stevo Pendarovski, will compete in a second round of voting on May 8th.

Gordana Silianovska Davkova won in 60 municipalities in the country, Stevo Pendarovski won mostly votes in three municipalities, Bujar Osmani in 15, and Arben Taravari in one municipality.

Bujar Osmani has won in Harachine (53,51 %), Bogovine (55,33 %), Vlach (58,02 %), Debar (49,88 %), Dolenne (32,95 %), Jelina (49,45 %), Likova (56,813 %), Pllasice (6,813 %), Saraj (55,49 %), Struga (39,38), Studjencan (5054, %54), Tearca (41, %37), Tetovo (37, %91, %bh, %40, and Shum

Arben Taravari, meanwhile, won the most votes in Gostivar (32,26%), the municipality he leads as chairman.

Parliamentary elections in the RMV are held on May 8th. The same day is held the second round of presidential elections, where V candidate will compete for head of state MRO DPMNE, Gordana Silianovska- Davkova, who is taking the lead in the race, and current president Stevo Pendarovski, ranked second.
