Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti reacted shortly after the Parliamentary Assembly voted Kosovo membership in the KiE, writes Periscopi.
Kosovo's “from membership in the Council of Europe wins democracy, rule of law and human rights. And with Kosovo there, the Council of Europe wins a new and living democracy, ruling the law and respecting human rights”, Kurti has written among other things.

The Parliamentary Assembly says yes to Kosovo. We are one step closer and only one step away from membership in the Council of Europe.
The next and final phase ahead is the ministerial in May. Since the Committee of Ministers has not made any decisions unlike the opinion of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe since 1951, we believe that the next phase will be successfully completed. However, our work will continue.
From Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, democracy, rule of law and human rights wins. And with Kosovo there, the Council of Europe wins a new and living democracy, where the law rules and human rights are respected.
