Ukraine's Prime Minister, Denys Schmyhal, has said there will be “The Third World War” if Ukraine loses its fight with Russia.
In an interview for the BBC, Shmeyhal asked the American Congress to pass a bill in which a $61 billion aid is provided to Kiev.
He has expressed “optimism” that American lawmakers will adopt the strongly contested measure.
The House of Representatives will vote for the package this Saturday. The proposal includes financing for Israel, as well as Indo-Peacekeeping.
Speaking to the BBC in Washington on Wednesday, Prime Minister Shmyhal has said of US assistance with the security that “these money we need yesterday, not tomorrow, not today”.
If we don't defend, Ukraine will fall. So the global security system will be destroyed and the whole world will have to find a new security system. Or, there will be many conflicts, many such types of wars, and after all, this could lead to the Third World War”, it is expressed.
This is not the first time Ukraine issued such an alarming warning about the consequences of its possible loss.
Last year, President Volodyyr Zelensky has said that if Russia wins the conflict, it could invade Poland, causing the Third World War.
