The European Union has confirmed that the next meeting at the level of top negotiators will be held in Brussels.
“We can confirm that the meeting is held tomorrow”, EU spokesman Peter Stano said February.
Three days ago, EU emissary Miroslav Lajcak, who said this meeting would again be to find a solution for citizens affected by the Kosovo Central Bank's decision, which removed the dinar from use.
“At the end of this week, I will expect Kosovo and Serbia's chief negotiators for another round of talks aimed at finding a temporary solution for people affected by the Kosovo Central Bank decision. I expect both sides to come to the meeting with an open mind, flexibility and a solution-oriented approach based on ideas presented during previous meetings”, Lajcak had said.
Meanwhile, Serbian chief negotiator Petar Petkov announced yesterday that he and his team left for Brussels yesterday.
We're going in the hope that we'll find a solution for the dinar, even though I'm not an optimist”, Petkovic was expressed for Informer.
Whether Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislim has travelled to Brussels is unknown, but he announced yesterday he had a conversation with Lajcak about the situation Serbia created with the blocking of Kosovo citizens at the border points.
