Kosovo's former chief negotiator in dialogue with Serbia, Edita Tahiri, in an interview for the Online Economy has asked Prime Minister Albin Kurti to explain the reason why it is possible that Kosovo attacked by Serbia is punished with sanctions by the American-repriated European Union, while Serbia as a aggressor is unpunished.
She has said it is up to the Government to make an official explanation to the people why Kosovo is still under sanctions today.
Tahiri has criticised Prime Minister Kurti also for failing to co-ordinate them in advance of decisions he has made, where, according to her, Kurti with these behaviors has come out of anti-American positions, damaging the country.
The first “is that we were attacked in Banjska from Agrean Serbia, what happened to us? Kosovo was punished, Serbia was not punished. He has met Kurt and the government come out and explain to the people of Kosovo how he became even attacked and punished, hence, an offensive and unpunished Serbia. This official explanation is up to Kurti to the people of Kosovo. The other question is that Kurt broke relations with America by not coordinating for one of these small issues that he's had, not the plates, not now the dinar, then there's the question of elections in the north that were legal, but they weren't legal. And Kurt had to coordinate well with American partners, who are the Americans made us state, had to be coordinated. This came out of anti-American positions that don't know why he has these anti-American positions. But of course they are harmful to the state of Kosovo”, she has said.
Tahiri has stressed that it is good that America has made it clear that it is not “incompatible with the Kosovo people, but that it is “incompatible with the Kosovo government.
She has said that Americans make the biggest alliance, not with little ones, according to her, in this case “Kurti is small”.
I am pleased that Americans made it clear that we are not broken with the people of Kosovo, but we are broken with the Kosovo government. With this case since I was Kosovo's foreign minister at the time of the occupation, I am one of the main people who have reached the strategic alliance with America. I'm telling you a word the Americans make a alliance with the greats, with us as figures like me, Rugova and Agani, don't tear down the younger ones than Kurt is small, she said.
