One witness said they saw a woman lying on the ground before being sheltered in a jewelry store.
The Waterley Council said at X: “A critical incident has begun after shooting a male in Bondi Junction. Just before 4: 00 p.m. today, emergency services were called to Westfield Bondi Junction after reporting on many people stabbed. People are required to avoid the area. ”
Witnesses say that mother and baby among stab victims
People moving along the streets of Bondi Junction have reported that a mother and a baby are among the victims of stabbed slaughter.
One man, interviewed by 9 News, claimed that friends of the buyers tried to help a mother and her baby who had been stabbed.
The man said that he kept the child while he and others tried to cover the wound.
He said that others tried to care for the mother, who had the most significant bloodshed.
