Canada's Foreign Minister, Melanie Joly, announced on Friday that the parliamentary secretary of this ministry, Robert Oliphant, will stay on a visit to Kosovo between April 14th-17th.
He will participate in the Women's Forum for Peace and Security, where there will be some activities and discussions on wake-up calls for changes in the security environment in the Western Balkans.
Oliphant will meet with government officials and <x0rider regional and key partners”, Canada's Foreign Ministry report said.
“Along these meetings, he will discuss how Canada can support the Pristina-Belgrade dialogue towards a comprehensive agreement between Kosovo and Serbia and identify other opportunities for Canada and Kosovo to proceed with promoting peace, political stability and economic progress in the Western Balkans”, the report continues.
Oliphant will meet with Canadian KFOR members and those the OSCE is serving in Kosovo.
