Scholz cut with Kurt: Steps towards Association for Kosovo membership in KiE

Germany's Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz called on Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, concrete steps towards the establishment of the Serb majority-inhabited Commission Association for Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe.

“Olaf Scholz underlined the importance of concrete steps by Kosovo authorities for establishing the Serb majority communities' Association, even in terms of Kosovo's application for membership in Council of Europe”, said in the media communiqué issued by German Chancellor.

For calling with Scholz, Kurti spoke through a media communique only to have asked for the German vote “without preconditions or additional conditions” about Kosovo's membership in the KiE./National
