PSD activists hand over a bullet to the government, as sign of protest over women's killings in Kosovo

Social Democrat Party activist Donjeta Demolli said institutions are not doing enough to protect women in Kosovo.

While this Government and Presidency are defiling through peace summits telling the world what peace is and composing songs in parallel lives where women are facing bullets is happening in Kosovo. This is the clearest indication that the performance and symbolic performance of the Government and Presidency have not honored the lives of women”, she said.

It also showed the symbolic of bringing a bullet to the object of the government.

This Government has no cause for women's sacrifice, actually this government wants women to be victimized because that's how it requires obedience. But we reject this role and have to fight for equality. The state has a duty, exclusive responsibility to protect women's lives and prevent violence. It's this government that's the main aspirin. We today as a symbolic sign have brought a bullet, the bullet is the last moment, marks the last moment a woman killed in Kosovo has faced. They can't speak and can't fight anymore, but we have responsibilities, we have obligation and we will fight for the woman's life in Kosovo”, Demolli said away.
