The prosecution initiates case against Professor Xhevat Krasniqi for criminal work “sexual harassment”

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina has announced that he has initiated cases in the direction of criminal work “sexual harassment” against University of Pristina professor Xhevat Krasniqi.

The news has confirmed the prosecution's spokeswoman, Laureta Ulaj, who said the prosecution has authorised police in the investigative action company.

This Tuesday, the Ethics Council has recommended the Rector's suspension of Krasniqi -- the decision which Rector, Qerim Qerim, later made.

Against the Rectorate decision, the Student Religious Movement has emerged, which said Krasniqi must be dismissed and not suspended.
