The Student Religious Movement has warned of Thursday's comprehensive protest and blockade, thus demanding the departure of Professor Xhevat Krasniqi, suspected of sexual harassment of students.
An announcement of this move is said Thursday at 11:00, the Ethics Council of The UPP will meet to review once again the denouncing of sexual harassment by 27 medical school students against Professor Dzevat Krasniqi, who has been treating him several times and for whom he has made no decision.
“We will not line up with the institutional neglect of the UPI and the failure to prioritize the safety of women and girls through whom sexual harassment is normalising in UP's spaces.
Friends and friends, although we have already seen the results of our resistance, we will not withdraw from our demands. We don't get enough of the indifferent, non-serious reactions from the UP, so until the exception of Professor Krasniqi, we will constantly escalate our resistance”, the report says.
Furthermore, their response reportedly disgruntled/unconventioned/unprofessional of the Ethics Council, addressing the case in full opposition to UP's procedures and regulations, supports the call for boycott of lectures scheduled for Thursday at all UP faculties.
“You are invited to join us for blocking the Council of Ethics members from the Rectorate building until they make a fair and merit decision for Professor Krasniqi”, it is said further in the statement.
