Croatia's President Zoran Milanovic has expressed himself today and supports Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe despite Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq sent a five-page letter to him.
I support Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, despite the fact that Vuciq has brought me a 5-page letter. But that is so, it is Croatia's policy, it will not change anything”, Milanvic has said.
He has also said he supports the resolution on Srebrenica, expected to be voted into the UN.
On the other hand, the head of the Croatian state questioned by journalists for reports with neighbouring countries and the region has also talked about relations with Albanians.
“With Albanians we will always be close and friends, without intentions to break up with Serbia”, he has said.
Milanovic has made these comments Wednesday as he cast his ballot in parliamentary elections, which, according to preliminary results published tonight, has won the Croatian Democratic Union, of current Prime Minister Andrej Plenkov, but not by enough votes to form the government there alone.
