Former President Jahjaga shows how Kosovo provided 1.5 million medical equipment from the Alwelled Foundation

Former Kosovo President Atifeta Jahjaga has assured her QKUK's a medical device that amounts to 1.5m euros. This is what Jahjaga has accomplished through the cooperation her foundation “Jahjaga Foundation” has done with the Filantropic Foundation from Saudi Arabia “Alweed”.

Jahjaga has said Kosovars will need to travel abroad to do the necessary diagnostics, since this service can be obtained at Cuktak from today.

 With great pride today we inaugurated the SPECT scanner. PET/CT, worth 1.5 million Euros at the Nuclear Medicine Clinic, a first such technology in SSKUK that will change the lives of patients and their families. This achievement, which is not the first and will not be the last, is made possible thanks to the extraordinary cooperation between the Jahjaga Foundation and the Filantropic Foundation Alweeded in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, led by His Highness, Prince Alwealed Bin Talal AlSaud. )

For years, Kosovo citizens have travelled abroad for the necessary diagnostics. From today, this will not be necessary, since this service will be carried out on the threshold of the home of any needy citizen, lowering costs and significantly improving the quality of health care.

I am convinced that this is just the beginning of many other achievements that we will achieve together! Together for a healthier and happier future for all our citizens.
