President Vjosa Osmani has named Learta Holay, chief of the cabinet. Her appointment comes several months after Blerim Vela's resignation.
Holaj had initially been an adviser to the Kosovo Assembly Speaker, and then as vice chief of the President's staff.
“Learta Holaj has joined President Osmani's team four years ago, initially as adviser to Kosovo Parliament Speaker, and then as president's deputy chief of staff. During this period, Mrs. Holaj has been focused on foreign policy, policies in the area of sustainable development, the energy sector, as well as on advancing the agenda for women, Peace and Security. Mrs. Holaj has a several-year experience in civil society in Kosovo, with expertise in democratic governance, energy sector, environmental protection and research and avocation in the field of public policy. Bachelor Studies, Mrs. Holaj, has finished at the Kosovo RRI in Pristina, while those masters at Central European University in Budapest”, the report said.
